Come Fly With Me Nude

Chicago native Sidney Burrows Jr. has performed in film, television commercials, voice-overs, and stage for 16 years. He’s performed in ads for Advair, Colt 45, Kroeger, Sprint, Kentucky Lottery and Scan Disk. He played the title role in the short-film, Riding with Jack, which won the Gold Award for best original comedy at World Fest. Other film credits include Clay Ashtrays, Beaver Run, and Sending Me An Angel.

Robert Anthony Peters (Jack) is a full time actor working in film, theater, and voice over.  He trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York.  While studying there, he acted in many plays and indie films.  Back in the Bay Area since 2002 –  his childhood home — Robert has performed in more than a dozen theatrical productions, and in 2005 completed work on Pursuit of Happyness (acting alongside Will Smith) and Farewell Bender (which recently debuted at the  Tribeca Film Festival).  Other recent indie films of note where Robert is featured include: Isolated, Hideout, Revolution Summer, Broken Arrows (with his wonderful Come Fly With Me Nude castmates Stephen Pawley, Stephan Smith-Collins, and Todd Pickering), and Carrier (also with the Stephen Pawley) and is finding more and more opportunities to expand his range as a film actor.

Mark (St. John Smythe) Hardwicke began acting in his own short films while at the San Francisco Art Institute. He later beefed-up his toolbox at ACT and began to do regional theatre in the Bay Area. Numerous commercials, industrials and indie films flesh out this life in performance, the pinnacle of which remains the Thank-You Man for the Bay Area’s Spare The Air campaign. "Thank you for not driving, and sparing the air!" 

Nancy (Sparkle) Heine was last seen at the Sundance Film Festival in the short film Life Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness, directed by San Francisco filmmakers Tiffany Schlain and Xandra Castleton. Nancy trained with the legendary Jeff Corey and Lew Palter in Los Angeles, and recently worked with Cassandra Chamberlain in the Bay Area.

Jon (Dick McMannan) Gale has been seen in a number of projects, Film, Commercials, and theatre.  His  film credits include Luna, and Letters From a Killer which premiered on HBO in 2002.  His Theatre credits number over 45 productions over the 10 years he has been in the business, including: Party, Crumple Zone, Knuckles and Krunch, Extremities, Sperm Warefare and his latest, Bent (which he has received amazing reviews from critics and the audiences).  He has also done over 25 commercials for such companies as: Toyota, Power Bar, Wheaties, and First Union Bank.  He “enjoyed deeply the experience with the production of Come Fly With Me Nude. He thanks Diane for her faith in him and would love to work with her again on future projects.  

Editor Jonathan Parra’s career highlights include Jerald Howard’s short stop motion animation piece See The Truth (which aired on HBO and garnered several festival awards), Mara Wallis’ feature documentary Entertaining Vietnam (winner of the Best Documentary Award at the Gulf Coast Film & Video Festival), Pepe Urquijo’s documentary Fruit Of Labor, Cine Acci??n’s Festival ¡Cine Latino! Trailer which aired on PBS and Univision, Courtesy Sports spots which aired on ESPN and ESPN 2, and the recent 2004 Film Arts Festival of Independent Cinema trailer. He is the on-call editor for Beyond Pix, InterCultura Multilingual Media, and Hotbed Productions - three of San Francisco’s top Post-Production Houses.

Costume Designer Daniella Turner used her background in stage costume design to achieve the timeless look that was so vital to this film. She also designed all of the costumes for the stage show Come Fly With Me Nude, and has been part of Berkeley Rep’s costume department for the past year. In 2005, she was the costume designer of the feature films Broken Arrows and Car Babes.
