After a sold-out work-in-progress screening at the Film Arts Foundation Festival of Independent Cinema, we’ve tweaked the film to near perfection, and it should be finished December 2007. A miraculous feat, given everyone’s load of project and career leaps.

"Back Issues", a short comedy written & directed by CFWMN editor Jonathan Parra and starring many "Come Fly With Me Nude" alumni (Stephen Pawley, Duane Shirmer, Todd Pickering, and Robert Anthony Peters), premiered at the Film Festival at Comic Con (in San Diego) on July 26 this year. Please visit www.myspace.com/backissuesmovie to see pix & learn more.

The composer of the score for the stage and screen versions of "Come Fly With Me Nude", Patrick Bowsher, has been working pretty non-stop in Los Angeles, and for our own selfish reasons we’re hoping his commitment to Hollywood doesn’t become a permanent one.

Todd Pickering and yours truly just finished writing a sitcom pilot based on the feature film "Come Fly With Me Nude" (yes, we are still milking it!), and it’s pretty bleeping funny. It’s no longer the Dom & Bella story; now an ensemble piece Think "Friends" meets "Tales of the City". It’s been entered in the Slamdance/FoxTV pilot teleplay contest, so fingers crossed!

Always remember, it’s better to regret doing something than not doing something. Now get out there and run with scissors!
